We will discuss the history of esophageal atresia, the surgeons who did the fiirst succesful operations and the survivors and the operations to replace the esophagus such as the intercolon position that will include the ascending colon, descending colon, the transverse colon , the stomach using gastric pullup. gastric tube replacement with the greater curvature of the stomach or lesser curvature of the stomach, the different stretching techniques of the esophagus and others methods.
